A Toe Unseen


To have been good to go in all;
To have seen the sights of gall
Through tests of my equanimity,
I cannot be said to have lost.

Reinforced I have become;
Forwards, behind forearmed;
Hedged beyond diminution,
I cannot be said to have lost.

My sights assure me more.
There is passion within them.
Tasks unseen yet expected allure.
I cannot be said to have lost.

Mimic me or work with me.
Try the things I have seen.
Bemoan my lackadaisicality.
I cannot be said to have lost.
