Origins

The ZAS’ Household is an acronym for the private family of Zelophehad Adah Sampson who at sixteen years of age (in 1996) began a self professionalization drive to become an intellectual of contemporary international echelon. He received primary and post-primary schooling in his hometown of Obudu—a prefecture in a region of western-African introspection which he describes as The Elitist Republic of Cross River (The ERCR) in a piece of his own literature titled ROOTED (reproduced below).

My origins have been demure of late

In their endowment of minds around

In their readiness for the challenging.

History must have no wives anymore;

History must relinquish its meaning

To becloud your real name, my origins.

To have been conceived is to be prime;

To have been loved from the beginning;

To have been groomed for the intellect.

Intelligence drunkens the novice

To make him flaunt his mien awkward.

You lie fallow aghast at waywardness.

I must name you newly audacious:

The Elitist Republic of Cross River;

Audacious by thy maker so meant.

Whatsoever ever comes means thee thus

To brandish before you glamour,

To institute thy plumage celestial.

Flying significantly on hospitality and tourism, Cross River is a mountainous geo-society especially at its northern sphere where it has spectacular rivers, waterfalls (e.g., Agbokim), wildlife (e.g., Okwangwo) and year-round temperate highlands (e.g., Obudu Ranch Resort).

Though he received first degree instructions and certification on Business Administration in his early twenties from Ahmadu Bello University—Zaria—Zelophehad Adah Sampson’s passions in creative intelligence formulation, acquisition, analysis and reporting (besides critical thinking) have forged him into a poet laureate, corporate blogger, researcher, theoretician, essayist, yogi and managing representative of his business enterprise (Begotten Brands).
